Blue Porcelain Side-Handle Teapot
This handcrafted small blue porcelain side-handled teapot reflects the enduring heritage of traditional Chinese blue-and-white ceramics, rooted in the imperial kiln craftsmanship of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Historically associated with “sacrificial blue” (Ji-blue glaze), this rare high-fired finish was once reserved for imperial ritual wares and is prized for its deep sapphire tone, achieved through precise firing at temperatures above 1280°C.
